Straight Six is an energetic force of Rock, Rhythm and Blues, featuring the East Side Horns!

For those of you that have not had the pleasure of hearing us play, we perform a wide variety of music in the genre of Rhythm and Blues such as old blues of Albert King, Elmore James, T-Bone Walker,  Taj Mahal and others. 

We play a few Van Morrison songs, some Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Delbert McClinton, U2, Tom Petty, Savoy Brown , Robert Cray and Stevie Ray Vaughan.  

To the mix we throw in some grooving cuts by Otis Redding, Wilson Picket, Sam and Dave, Temptations, Commodores, Fabulous Thunderbirds, and  some Grateful Dead plus much more.

To top things off we play our own brand of down home Rhythm and Blues with some Straight Six originals Back On My Feet Again, The Train Song, Runnin', Long Way, Lucile, Rollin' On, and Boulevard!

On September 11, 2001, our nation and the world faced a great tragedy.  The members of Straight Six would like to extend our heart felt love and compassion to everyone around the world that were affected by this event.

Together with all of you, we stand united as one, as our will has not been broken,
